If you could go and click This Rocks and comment, then it would be much appreciated (:
Seriously people. Go and check out Sophie’s new DIY set on the FRONT website. It’s high time FRONT featured this lady again, and finally they have come to their senses. The images are awesome of course, Sophie never disappoints in that department. But if i may for a second shed some light on the intense coolness that this woman posses… She’s a tattoo artist, always striving for improvement and personal growth in her field. Has a taste that’s both sophisticated and entirely her own. Posts fabulous content on her blog regularly, and is always willing to help out where she can. I’m thrilled that she is pursuing her modelling work as well as an already hectic tattoo schedule. She’s had her tattooing skills featured in FRONT’s esteemed pages already, and the sky is the limit for this incredible force of nature. Lend her your support guys and gals, and you’ll be repaid with truly immaculate work. I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing Sophie before for this blog, and can’t wait to do so again in the future. It is always my pleasure to promote the hell out of Sophie Butcher! Don’t forget to click “this rocks” when you’re checking out the DIY set. Thanks for reading.
My interview with Sophie Butcher was a big deal for me. I actually got to interview her just before her Alt Girl feature for FRONT in issue 161 was released. I saw it as a bit of a coup if I’m honest, as I was first drawn to Sophie after her appearance on the FRONT website. I had no idea she had graduated to a full feature in the magazine, but I could totally understand why it had happened. Sophie’s pictures had a myriad of qualities that endeared her to the audience. Speaking personally, I saw a girl that didn’t take herself too seriously, and enjoyed being in front of the camera. Her work on the shoot with Scarlett studios harked back to what FRONT was all about when I first became a fan. It was this issue and FRONT’s decision to include a woman like Sophie Butcher that reaffirmed my faith in the magazine. It was such a classic FRONT spread, and I don’t mean that in any negative way. Though the spirit and character of the shoot was nostalgic, Sophie’s look and decisions in front of the lens kept it fresh and unique.
I must admit, that my waxing lyrical about Sophie and her qualities is not only due to her wonderful work in the guise of model. It is also due to her overwhelming character and personality. From the moment I began working with Sophie I found her committed and enthusiastic. She wanted to make our interview the best piece she could, and put in so much effort to make it so. I will always be grateful to Sophie for taking part in my blog. I’ll also always be thankful for her continued support for my other projects away from tumblr. I look forward to working with her again in the very near future, and will always find an excuse to revisit our dynamic and try to include her in as many projects as I can. She’s an incredibly creative and bubbly person, whose flair and ideas are being channelled through her advancing tattooing career. I’ve seen some quite recent work she has posted, and it’s clear to see her skills reach far beyond the modelling realm. I hope 2012 is a remarkable year for Sophie. She’ll always have a collaborator in me as long as she needs one. I hope FRONT revisit Miss Butcher in upcoming issues, and I wish her all the very best as always.
I hope you’ll check out or reacquaint yourself with our original interview collaboration, and follow the lovely Sophie to learn more:

She’s this months FRONT Alt Girl (issue 161), she’s paying her dues learning the art of tattooing, she’s an all-round angel, and one of the funniest, smartest and most natural Alt Girls ever. What could be better than a word with Sophie Butcher! Now I’m in a strange position at the moment, posting an interview with a lady that FRONT has splashed all over its middle pages like an awesome oil slick. FRONT of course do their own interviews when they feature a new Alt Girl, and far be it for me to step on any toes. But what better time to post yet another interview with this minx of inks. I first got in touch with Sophie after seeing her top notch showing as a DIY Alt girl on the FRONT website (http://www.frontarmy.com/girls/alt-girl-diy-sophie-butcher). Then to my delight, she tells me during the course of our interview that she’s going to actually be in the magazine as the next Alt Girl. Talk about timing! As luck would have it, this interview all kind of fell into place two days after the magazine hit shelves. So now I share it with you lovely people. My interview with Sophie Butcher; a lady that was a pleasure to chat with, very generous, and whose Alt Girl shoot immediately had me wanting more. I think she’ll be a repeat delighter in the magazine for sure, and I can’t speak highly enough of her debut. It may have been fortuitous timing, but I think you’ll agree, it would have been a shame to keep this interview under wraps. The interview was conducted a few weeks ago, so you wouldn’t have seen her in “the Hut” tonight, and she’s probably bought more stuff since Chloe’s birthday (read on, it’ll make sense)…
